O.K. O.K. so most of us have already broken our New Years Years resolutions and vowed to do better next year. And for those that are succeeding, well were all proud of you.
Now February may be short but here at the Common Plea we plan on making the most of it. So lets get right to it!
1st February 2nd marks GROUNDHOG DAY, Phil has a weather prediction rating of 100%. This site will show you more than you thought existed on the history of this natural weather predictor. All day we will have traditional groundhog cookies for dessert.
2nd Next up is VALENTINES DAYand here at the restaurant we are celebrating the entire weekend with a special menu from Chef John. Along with a special cocktail that appears in WHIRL. So make your reservations today and enjoy a romantic evening here at the Common Plea.
3rd We have PRESIDENTS DAY Now for those of you who get that Monday off, go enjoy yourselves, we always have Monday off here (@ the restaurant) Catering, well they just might be working.
4th BLACK HISTORY MONTHreminds us all to commemorate and respect African Americans who changed not only our country but the world.
O.K. O.K. The Common Plea this year begins its 40th year celebration. With that we are going into the archives to find some vintage menu items ("OLD SCHOOL") and bringing them back. These foundation items never really left us they just gave way to new things. Stay Tuned you may see and taste something you have been longing for.
