The Common Plea is celebrating our 40TH year in downtown Pittsburgh! Maintaining a passion and a dedication to perfection begins with our ownership and is imparted upon our management and staff. We continue that tradition today for you, our guests. Welcome to the Common Plea!
Enough about us...
Its March and we all know that not only is spring coming and warm weather is on the way. Here at the restaurant we are exploring the idea of outside dining, and that means a spot right out where the action is - Ross Street. With a new awning up and windows on the way, we're ready for spring.
Now March gives us a new cookie of the month and its a nod to the birth of both the OREO cookie and the FAMOUS AMOS COOKIE. So on Tuesday the 23RD all guests will receive a cookie that should hold its own to along side these icons.
Sadly, Saturday the 6TH and Wednesday night the 10TH the restaurant will be closed. The staff is on a field trip. We will miss you all terribly while we are away at catering events, but know this, we'll be back!
SAINT PATRICK'S DAY tends to fill the streets of Pittsburgh with parade goers and Irish revelers. Enjoy yourselves and be safe! We'll keep the bar stocked with JAMESON'S IRISH WHISKEY for ya.
Our VINTAGE MENU is in full swing, you really need to see these dishes and taste them too. Some might say at these prices it truly is vintage.
Well with spring right around the corner our new lunch and dinner menu will be out soon with some great seasonal desserts too.
We might be forty but we still got it!
